Licence help

Your key is one line of text, emailed when you buy. No account, no password.

Entering it

Menu bar → Settings… → Licence. Paste the whole key and press Activate. Stray capitals, spaces and line breaks are handled.

Another Mac

Enter the same key. Each activation takes a slot, labelled with that Mac's name.

Replacing a Mac

Out of slots? Free Up a Mac… in the Licence tab opens your Polar purchases page. Remove the old activation, then activate the new Mac.

Lost the key

Search your email for the Polar receipt. If it's gone, email support from the address you paid with.

"Needs an internet check"

Baton rechecks about once a day and runs for a month offline. If it's been longer, connect and press Check Now. A dropped connection alone never stops a switch.

Refunds

Thirty days, any reason. Ask and it's done; the licence stops working then.
